WhatsApp Now Lets All Users Create and Share Custom Sticker Packs
WhatsApp has rolled out a major update this week that lets users create and manage custom sticker packs directly within the app—no third-party tools required.
Previously, users could design and save personalized stickers on WhatsApp, but once the collection grew, organizing and accessing them became cumbersome. With the new sticker pack feature, WhatsApp now allows users to group their stickers into separate, organized folders for easier use.
What’s more, users can now send an entire sticker pack in one tap, rather than forwarding stickers one by one. It’s a small but meaningful change that makes personal sticker sharing much smoother.
Speaking to 9to5Mac, a WhatsApp spokesperson said:
“Whether it’s a sticker pack of your dog or silly selfies with your closest friends, now you can make conversations more personal and fun.” The ability to share sticker packs was introduced earlier this year, but with this update, users can now create their own custom packs and share them directly in chats with friends and family.
In addition to the new sticker features, WhatsApp has recently introduced several other updates. These include an online indicator showing how many members are active in group chats, the ability to scan and send documents directly, and support for setting WhatsApp as the default calling and messaging app on iPhones.
